    Trying to make meatloaf

Meatloaf seems like a recipe that would fit nicely into the Primal Blueprint. Oh, how wrong I can be.

The biggest problem with meat loaf--or any type of loaf for that matter-- is that the stuff that makes it "loafy" is almost always bread. Otherwise it would just be a ball of meat. The other big problem is that more typically than not people slather up a meatloaf with any amount of ketchupy sauces, and almost always these sauces are sugar loaded.

Well, not anymore. I finally found a primal friendly recipe on the internet for turkey meatloaf. It has almost no carbs, and only 280 calories per serving, which means you can go back for seconds or even thirds!

For sauce I use plain old tomato sauce with a few peppers added in for spiciness. No sugar necessary. That way I've got my orac value from the tomatoes before I even take my daily Master Formula.
